Library of Humor Laughter is the only medicine that does not have bad side effects. Humor, including laughing at ourselves, is said to be the best path to a long life. In the Library of Humor, we have collected a few hundred jokes that will “tickle your funny bone”, make you think and may even change your Outlook. And despite what we see today, life really does have enough humor, without resorting to bad language and put downs. For seniors, our categories of Aging Well, Marriage and Grand parenting are good examples of the wonderfully rich and humorous sides of life. Is there such a thing as aging well?? Read some of these jokes and stories and you may wonder. Is grand parenting as easy as it looks? After reading our marriage collection, you may feel lucky, or just shake your head, life is that way.

| But, as all seniors know, the Government and Military humor sections are, fortunately or unfortunately, an endless supply of jokes and stories of bizarre happenings. There may not be enough computer space for all of them. There is a category called, “government wisdom” for example. Just to make the point that we do not need bad language to make a joke, the English Language category is a treasure of comedy all by itself. The redneck dictionary and Washington Posts “New Words” are great plays on the foibles of our language. Did you see the definition that “bacteria” is the back door to a “cafeteria”? Sports bloopers is another favorite and it may go well with our category of Puns. Some of these are so good you will groan for more. There is also a good collection of Animal jokes, but in may cases, the story is really about their owners. In fact, have you noticed that some owners cut their hair like their dogs? But finally, do not miss Outlook. You will recognize yourself, your friends and relatives in this one. You may want to email a few of these to make a point. Laugh a bit; it makes the world go down a little easier.
